Hello Everyone,
Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year! Thanks for making the opening so successful. This is a reflection of your hard work and dedication.
I am looking forward to working with you again as your Executive Director. Last year was an extremely busy time for me with the reduction in force and numerous other personnel issue that came to my attention. The following items reflect how my time was spent supporting the members of our association.
- No furloughs this year.
- An 8% across the board payroll reduction was averted.
- Several individuals' non-renewals reversed at the 11th hour and restored to former or equivalent positions.
- Positions found for individuals non-renewed as of July 1.
-Resolved numerous conflicts between employees and supervisors.
- Facilitated transfers that resulted in a win-win for all involved.
- Answered and returned an average of 50 phone calls per day during spring and early summer.
Mr. David W. Olson, Criminal Defense Attorney, 561-833-8866 will be working with Staff Association on cases that require his services. If you are being accused of a criminal act that result in an arrest or a police investigation, please contact me immediately and I will assist you in working through the situation. Hopefully, we will not need Mr. Olson's services.
